Reporting to the Director Business Operations, the Senior Manager Warehouse, Demand Planning & Logistics Operations is responsible to create and implement strategies that drive performance and operational excellence at Wellwise (A Home Health Care Division). Wellwise has 42 store locations with a National Ecomm platformer and over 400 employees.

We are looking for an individual with experience managing teams, designing, developing, leading and driving continuous improvement initiatives, special projects, and process and system standardization to ensure operational effectiveness while improving customer satisfaction across the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop and implement on operational efficiency programs/initiatives designed to improve service Level consistency, store order accuracy, reduce operating cost and timeliness of both internal and external customer facing operations
  • Manage 3PL relationship, day to day operations based on the contract and SOW
  • Oversee demand planning for sku listing base, that supports the retail stores and ecomm platform (5,000+ sku listing base)
  • Work with Suppliers to improve demand planning and product fulfillment (Lead times, forecasting, minimum orders, etc.)
  • Responsible for managing the listing base turns, short coded product and working with category management on new and delisted products (one in, one out policy)
  • Collect and analyze data and Key Performance Indicators to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that result in reduced complexity, improved customer experience, increased productivity and reduced costs.
  • Identify and execute on Audit/Regulatory/Compliance risk initiatives to meet operational, legal and regulatory requirements to maintain a Medical Device License for the 3PL facility
  • Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to build and secure support resources ( tools and processes) to enable successful completion of value-added initiatives that accelerate business growth and operational excellence.
  • Responsible to drive performance analytics and insights across Wellwise division
    Create ad-hoc performance reporting and dashboards for potential new metrics
  • Manages 3 direct reports

What You'll Need

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Warehouse management, Demand planning or Logistics
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to synthesize large amount of data into insights
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable collaborating within cross functional team
  • Demonstrated strong business acumen
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Basic knowledge of MS Access, SQL, Python is an asset
  • Project management is an asset, looking for someone extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Post secondary education equivalent to a university degree in business, statistics, economics, engineering or similar
