Role Overview:
As a Workday Senior Analyst, you will report to the Director of People Process & Technology. You will primarily focus on the Security aspects of the Workday platform, while also supporting HCM functionalities. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining system integrity and performance.
This role will be 4 days on site at our Brampton Office (1 President's Choice Circle)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Workday Security solutions, ensuring robust access control and compliance across the organization.
- Manage security roles, groups, and policies to align with business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits of security settings to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement HCM solutions, focusing on enhancing user experience and productivity.
- Analyze strategic challenges related to security and HCM, providing actionable insights and recommendations based on data interpretation.
- Develop and implement security protocols and processes to ensure the protection of sensitive HR data.
- Promote automation and self-service tools, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making across security and HCM domains.
- Ensure comprehensive testing of all configuration changes related to Security and HCM modules.
- Document and maintain operational procedures related to Workday Security and relevant HCM functionalities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Exercise sound judgment in diagnosing and resolving complex security and HCM-related issues.
- Manage non-routine tasks independently and effectively while supporting team goals.
Your Recipe for Success:
- 3-5 years of HRIS/Workday experience with a focus on Security and HCM disciplines, complemented by a relevant post-secondary degree or equivalent experience.
- Advanced expertise in Workday Security, including role management, access control, and compliance best practices.
- Strong knowledge of Workday’s HCM features, particularly in areas that intersect with security.
- Proven project management skills and technical proficiency in HR technology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to influence decisions through a deep understanding of Workday functionality and business needs.
