BigCommerce Developer - Bilingual, Remote

• Lead client calls to gather their technical and design requirements
• Propose solutions to clients to address their needs
• Building the ‘client-side’ of our web applications.
• Translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications (FRONT END)
• To ensure system consistency and improve user experience for the server-side of our web applications, (BACK END)

QUALIFICATIONS

• BigCommerce certification (required)

• Experience with BigCommerce
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
• Experience working with different web development languages (i.e PHP, MySQL, GIT, KnockoutJs, ElasticSearch, Rest, GraphQL)
• Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, JavaScript and CSS)
• English (must), French (preferred)

BACK END:

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Write clean codes to develop functional web applications
• Troubleshoot and debug applications

FRONT END:

• Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages
• Maintain and improve websites
• Optimize applications for maximum speed

• Proven work experience as a BigCommerce FULL STACK Developer
• Must have an experience with BigCommerce Cloud projects
• Must have experience working with different web development languages (i.e PHP, MySQL, GIT, KnockoutJs, ElasticSearch, Rest, GraphQL)
