Description
At Manulife, we are currently seeking a talented and skilled Performance Marketing Analyst to join our MarTech modernization team. This role is ideal for a data-driven individual who excels in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about using data to drive marketing success. The ideal candidate will have experience interpreting large sets of marketing data, creating comprehensive reports, and developing actionable insights.
The Digital Performance Marketing Analyst will work closely with the Director, Digital Automation & Performance Marketing and the broader team to optimize live campaigns, prepare quarterly readouts for key business stakeholders and oversee program-related operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with the organization’s strategic vision.
This position offers the opportunity to join a dynamic marketing technology team where you will work both independently and collaboratively on a range of projects to shape, drive, and enhance our marketing automation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data from various sources, including marketing automation platforms and web analytics, to gain a holistic understanding of marketing performance.
- Report Design and Development: Design and build detailed reports that offer clear, actionable insights into marketing performance.
- In-Depth Campaign Analysis: Conduct thorough data analysis of marketing campaigns, website traffic, email marketing, and other relevant channels to identify trends, patterns, and areas for optimization.
- Performance Metrics Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive strategies to track marketing performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), evaluating the effectiveness of Manulife’s digital marketing initiatives.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Prepare and present analytical reports to stakeholders, ensuring that data is easy to interpret and actionable.
- Testing Methodologies Implementation: Lead implementation of testing methodologies to optimize marketing strategies and improve campaign performance. Leverage advanced statistical techniques to drive data-driven decision making. Ability to calculate statistical significance, interpret A/B test results using confidence intervals and derive actionable insights.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and recommendations for enhancing marketing strategies based on data analysis.
- Campaign Objectives Alignment: Work closely with marketing teams to define and refine campaign objectives, ensuring they align with Manulife’s overarching goals and priorities. Develop partnership with data science team on big data and warehouse technologies.
Job Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, marketing, statistics, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing analytics or a similar analytical role.
- Data Interpretation Skills: Demonstrated ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights to improve marketing performance.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present data-driven insights to diverse stakeholders in an influential and compelling way.
- Digital Marketing Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels and metrics. Familiarity with Adobe Journey Optimizer, Marketo or another marketing automation platform.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Adobe Suite of products, including Analytics, Target, Marketo, and Journey Optimizer, is preferred.
- Adaptability: Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.

Salary range is expected to be between
$86,250.00 CAD - $155,250.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
