We are seeking enthusiastic team players to join our Absence Management, Short Term Disability (STD), and Long Term Disability (LTD) Group Disability Claims Teams as Disability Claims Specialists. In this fulfilling role, you'll work closely with an Associate Manager to deliver best in class disability case management and support the growth and development of our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Empower and Inspire: Equip case managers with the latest tools, resources, and training to achieve exceptional outcomes.
Lead Proactively: Champion proactive case management by setting clear action plans with defined steps and expected results.
Facilitate Return-to-Work Success: Drive return-to-work initiatives using best practices in disability management.
Solve Challenges: Tackle challenges with effective solutions to ensure seamless case resolutions.
Collaborate Creatively: Work with various departments to enhance processes and improve results.
Develop Talent: Foster the professional growth of new team members through continuous training and support.
Analyze Trends: Evaluate audit scores to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure Fairness: Review appeals with careful attention to detail and fairness.
Deliver Training: Conduct impactful training sessions to equip new hires with the skills they need to succeed.

Required Qualifications:
A university degree in a relevant field.
Deep knowledge of disability products, processes, and best practices.
2-3 years of proven coaching, mentoring and talent developing.
Background in disability management, case management, health care related fields primarily.
Proficiency in English and French to support diverse clients will be an asset. The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.

Salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
