    The opportunity

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager who is passionate about providing investment solutions that help our clients achieve their financial goals. As Product Manager, you will report to the Director of the Guaranteed Investments Product team and will be accountable for the management and development of the Segregated Funds, Guaranteed Interest Accounts and Annuities product suites, and will be instrumental in the achievement of our growth plans.

    This role is ideal for a creative, energetic, enthusiastic individual who is looking to develop and grow within the Financial Services industry. We are looking for an individual who is organized, excited to learn, has strong analytical acumen and is a naturally curious problem solver.

    You should possess strong leadership and communication skills, a good understanding of the Guaranteed Investments business, industry knowledge and have experience in large cross functional projects. Experience in operations, customer services, sales and investments are an asset.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead/Participate in cross-functional project teams to support the implementation of product initiatives
    • Support the feasibility analysis of product enhancements/changes
    • Present to internal and external audiences on guaranteed investment product topics
    • Problem-solving to manage escalated issues that arise across the business
    • Collaborate effectively with different areas of the business, including other members of the Product team, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Legal and Compliance on business related issues
    • Prepare various recurring and ad-hoc reports, such as performance updates
    • Liaise with different external stakeholders, such as third party data providers and other industry groups
    • Assist with researching and identifying new product ideas and completing the standard new idea pipeline process
    • Stay current on trends in the Canadian segregated fund industry to assist in the development and positioning of forward-thinking products
    • Support the development and implementation of other strategic, regulatory and tactical business initiatives
    • Work on special projects as required

    Education, Experience & Skills:

    • Post-secondary degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related fields
    • 3-5 years of professional experience with a financial services firm
    • Working knowledge of segregated funds industry
    • Understanding and demonstrated interest in financial markets
    • Ability to learn quickly and simultaneously handle multiple tasks/projects
    • Strong organizational and project management skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
    • Highly motivated and a self-starter
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Relationship management and collaboration skills
    • Professional and tactful in all dealings

    Working arrangement:

    • Hybrid - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

    Salary range is expected to be between

    $80,700.00 CAD - $145,260.00 CAD
