Project Manager, IT Risk Initiatives

Responsibilities:

  • Program Planning and Coordination: Assist in defining program scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop detailed program plans and schedules. Coordinate program activities, resources, and information. Coordinate IRM roadmap capability scope definition meetings with stakeholders and track action items to closure.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Organize and facilitate meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on program progress and any issues or changes.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive program documentation, including plans, reports, and logs. Ensure that all program documentation is current and accessible to team members and stakeholders. Create and update baseball cards for new and existing metrics.
  • Reporting: Perform reporting activities for the IRM Roadmap and Path-to-practice programs. Prepare and deliver status reports, dashboards, and presentations. Support the Path-to-Practice and IRM roadmap program reporting automation.
  • Program Operations: Manage all program SharePoint sites including the implementation of access controls. Update the Automated KRI Hub SharePoint site documentation to align with feedback from Audit and the KRI sustainment review
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential risks and issues that could impact program timelines or quality. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks. Escalate significant risks and issues to the program director.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all IT risk program deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations. Conduct regular reviews and implement continuous improvement practices to enhance program outcomes.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Program Director.

Skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer science, Project Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar role
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification is a plus.
  • Information risk management certification such as CISA and CRISC is a plus
  • Experience in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
  • Understanding of technology, information risk and Cybersecurity risk is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary range is expected to be between

$74,270.00 CAD - $137,930.00 CAD
