Site Project Administrator (Construction)

This site based position will support the project team with a wide range of responsibilities including, but not limited to:

 

  • Preparation of site meeting minutes, daily reports and timesheets, summaries and weekly progress reports and distribution accordingly.
  • Greeting visitors to site and ensure they are signed in and oriented to site procedures including ‘in and out’ sheets, first aid and training video.
  • Field expediting of miscellaneous materials, rented and operated equipment.
  • Physical point of contact on-site for deliveries and pick-ups.
  • Assist with document control (distribution of drawings and specifications).
  • Update trailer boards with the most up to date Health and Safety procedures and reports.
  • Assist with the organization of site meetings as well as sub-trade coordination meetings.
  • Assist in the orientation of new site personnel.
  • Assist with surveying, layout, lines, levels, and verification of the work.
  • Routine correspondence to Engineer, Sub-Trades and Suppliers in co-operation with the Superintendent.
  • Assist Project Manager and Superintendent in tracking issues, changes in condition, requests for information and change orders.
  • Assist with the management of and track our QA / QC program.
  • Track progress and productivity rates.

 

This role will require: 

  • Minimum Grade 12 education.
  • Construction knowledge/experience is an asset.
  • Proficient MS Office and Windows-based computer applications skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, etc.).
  • Valid driver’s license.
