A career as a Director of Fiduciary Services on the National Bank Trust Fiduciary and Philanthropic Services team you will act as a strategic partner to our clients regarding fiduciary services for individuals. You will ensure optimal management of a set of large-scale accounts under your responsibility. Additionally, you will ensure client satisfaction through the trusting relationships you develop and the application of high standards in customer experience.

Your job

  • Actively participate in the sector's transformation by adopting high standards of customer experience, suggesting improvements to current processes, acting as a change ambassador, and demonstrating creativity and proactivity.
  • Establish and maintain a privileged relationship with clients through the rigorous implementation and monitoring of customer experience standards in the Fiduciary Services sector. You will need to prepare regular reports and communications for your clients.
  • Be accountable for the quality processing of the files under your responsibility and their progress. You will need to regularly communicate their progress to your internal partners, clients, and their experts, if applicable.
  • Ensure business development with targeted sectors of wealth management (Private Banking 1859 and National Bank Financial outside Quebec). You will need to develop a close partnership with representatives of these sectors by offering presentations and training sessions to their teams, representing National Bank Trust in client meetings, and working closely with these partners to promote asset retention.
  • Participate in various transformation and continuous improvement initiatives, including the digitization of processes and client communications.

Your team

Reporting to the Vice President of Fiduciary and Philanthropic Services, you will lead a small team composed of an analyst and associate who participate in the sector's mission, which is primarily to offer fiduciary and philanthropic services to individuals and specialized advice to a wealthy clientele outside Quebec (CWA). For over 90 years, National Bank Trust has been recognized in the industry as a fiduciary partner for several generations of clients. Prerequisites

  • Experience in customer service
  • Significant experience in a consulting role
  • Very good organizational skills, priority management, and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to practically solve a wide range of difficulties and complex and ambiguous situations
  • Very good communication skills and ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Ease in creating strong professional relationships (internal and external)
  • Ability to quickly generate interest and trust
  • Active listening skills necessary for a good understanding of clients' sensitive issues
  • Bilingualism (spoken/written) French and English; an asset
  • Knowledge or experience in estate liquidation or trust administration, an asset;
  • Knowledge in investments or financial planning, an asset;
  • Legal knowledge (Law Society of Ontario); an asset
