A career as an Executive Assistant in the Corporate and Investment Banking group at National Bank is to act as a liaison between our executives and stakeholders. As an Executive Assistant, you will collaborate and communicate with our partners to provide support with excellence and enthusiasm to have a positive impact on our clients and our teams.
Your job:
- Handle complex administrative functions that carry a high level of responsibility including executive calendar management, organizing meetings and conference calls, arranging business travel, and correspondence with legal professionals
- Diligently process detailed expense reports and invoices through SAP Concur and Ariba
- Collaborate with vendors and colleagues on donations, sponsorships, and special projects
- Arrange client events, lunches, and closing dinners
- Maintain the utmost confidentiality
- Ensure adherence to compliance rules
- Coordinate activities related to employee hiring and departure processes
Your team:
This position is based in Toronto. You will report to the Section Manager, Corporate Development & Business Management, Corporate and Investment Banking. You will join an Investment Banking team made up of over 150 dynamic professionals working on our new floor in a modern, functional, open-concept work environment conducive to discussions with colleagues at all levels.
Our training programs use on-the-job learning to help you master your role. You can access training content to support your ongoing learning. Working closely with executives and other administrative professionals in the Financial Markets sector, you will also have access to colleagues with a wide range of expertise, experience, and backgrounds to enrich all aspects of your development.
Basic requirements:
- Completed post-secondary education plus 2 to 3 years of relevant experience; Investment Banking experience considered an asset
- Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly while meeting strict deadlines
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proven ability to work well in a team environment and independently
- Proactive and professional
