A career as an Expert, Operational Resilience in the ITSM and Disaster Recovery Operations team at National Bank means being a leader of operational resilience within IT and Operations. It is through your ability to develop strong collaborative relationships across all areas of the Bank, and specifically, with the various IT, Operations, Business Continuity and Operational Resilience(2LDD) partners, that you have a positive impact on the delivery of the Bank's objectives.
Your role
- Develop the strategic plan for Operational resilience for IT and Operations;
- Ensure the development and operationalization of operational resilience within IT and Operations to support compliance with OSFI’s requirements: B-13, Guideline on Integrity and security, E-21 as well as requirements from other regulatory agencies (ex. European Union, SEC);
- Develop tools to measure and follow the operationalization level of resilience within the various teams;
- As the person responsible for operational resilience for IT & Operations, provide leadership in terms of continuous improvement for all the team’s processes as well as ensuring an overall improvement of execution by the Delivery Towers and Operations;
- Ensure evolution of processes and practices to keep pace with changes in technology, business and regulations;
- Be part of strategic initiatives impacting multiple bank’s departments;
- Develop and maintain business relationships with IT, Operations and 2LDD stakeholders to influence them to maximize and optimize operational resilience capabilities and create new ones;

Prerequisites
- Bachelor's degree related to the industry and five years of relevant experience or Master's degree related to the IT business sector and three years of relevant experience;
- Experience in process improvement;
- Knowledge of Jira and ServiceNow, desirable;
- Certification in resilience, desirable;
- Knowledge and experience in the field of cloud technology, desirable;
- Demonstrated relational skills and influence;
- Positive, innovative, and committed person, a strong advocate of autonomy and the creation of ideas;
- Leadership in a continuous transformation environment;
- Ability to mobilize a team towards a common goal.
