A career as an Operations Agent and Associate at National Bank Financial, your ability to work in synergy with clients and colleagues will be showcased. In this role, you will work with the Branch Administrator to support branch members by carrying out administrative tasks in accordance with Bank policies, standards, and procedures.

Your job:

  • Warmly welcome clients to the branch and direct them to the right resource person
  • Provide top-quality customer service in person, on the phone, and via email
  • Make daily bank deposits and support securities deposits
  • Submit accounts payable
  • Carry out daily branch operations activities (i.e. mail, distribute and file documents, order supplies, manage conference room reservations, etc.),
  • Help coordinate events and conferences with internal/external partners
  • Assist Branch Administrator with premises management
  • Support IT request submissions and help maintain branch IT equipment
  • Provide back-up administrative support to Wealth Advisor teams
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and risk management rules

Your team:

National Bank Financial - Wealth Management is the fifth largest investment brokerage firm in Canada. We have close to 1,000 investment advisors who manage the assets of more than 400,000 clients in about 100 branches. You will report to the Branch Administrator and work closely with a team of investment advisors to offer exceptional client experience. Collaboration and partnership will be key to your success.

Prerequisites:

  • Minimum 2 years of client service experience
  • Experience working in financial services would be an asset 
  • Practical knowledge required of Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Organizational and priority management skills 
  • Ability to adapt to change and work under pressure 
  • Critical thinking and strong problem-solving skillset
