A career as a full-stack developer in the IT Delivery - Market Risk team at National Bank means acting as a development specialist. Your role
- Develop, test, deploy, and debug applications on the AWS platform using your developer skills and security knowledge.
- Optimize and deploy applications using CI/CD workflows.
- Use "everything as code" paradigms for development, with commits triggering full CI-CD pipelines all the way to production.
- Automatically test everything that is developed, according to needs and contexts.
- Monitor everything that is put into production to react automatically in the event of a problem.
- Follow best practices that promote high availability (HA) for everything that goes into production.

Prerequisites
- You have a bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related field.
- You demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of experience in a full stack developer role.
- You have experience with versioning tools (Git, Bitbucket) and CI/CD pipelines.
- You have experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
- You are proficient in AWS environments and services (Athena, DMS, EC2, Glue, Lake Formation, Lambda, Quicksight, S3, SDK Toolkit, Security Groups, Aurora, RDS, API Gateway, etc.).
- Earning the AWS Developer Associate certification is an asset.
- You are proficient in front-end programming languages (Java, JavaScript, HTML, XML, JSON) and modern frameworks (React, Spring Boot/MVC). Knowledge of C# and .NET is an asset.
- You have experience with back-end programming languages (Node.js, Python, Java, etc.) and related frameworks.
- You have knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.).
- You have a good ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
- You have an analytical mind and a good ability to solve problems.
- You have a strong interest and curiosity in the banking field and/or risk management and/or the financial markets.
- You are proficient in French and your English is at a functional level in order to collaborate closely with our colleagues outside of Quebec.
