Description
As a Senior Transformation Advisor in the Cross-Sector Activities team for Financial Markets Operations at National Bank, you’ll work in an environment that prioritizes collaboration, transformation and innovation. In this role, you’ll have a positive impact on our organization by using your skills to implement our strategic initiatives.
Your role- Play a key role by advising the management committee on the sector’s strategic orientations. You will facilitate strategic thinking and help develop business processes through data analysis. You will also facilitate decision-making and prioritization based on the performance targets established.
- Ensure the governance of the Cross-Sector Activities transformation by collaborating with managers and advisors working in a decentralized structure. You will be responsible for establishing and monitoring the delivery schedule for the sector’s projects and new products as well as associated key indicators.
- As an advisor to the Cross-Sector Activities management committee, you will set up a data collection process designed to assess the performance of the sector’s transformation.
- Play a key role by collaborating with our partners (IT, Financial Markets) to influence the evolution of transformation initiatives and communicate the Operations vision effectively.
- Create and foster an environment conducive to change by mobilizing cross-sector teams, engaging the expertise required for transformation needs and taking an interest in new technology and innovation.
- You will actively contribute to the strategic initiatives of Financial Markets Operations through collaboration and alignment with the priorities of the Business Strategy, Data and Performance team for Financial Markets Operations .
Your team
As part of the Cross-Sector Activities - Financial Markets Operations sector, you will join a team of 7 experienced managers and 12 senior advisors with a decentralized structure that includes 3 different teams. You will report to the Senior Manager. Cross-Sector Activities offers expertise for Financial Markets and Wealth Management via three key channels: Market Parameters, the Counterparty Documentation Centre (CDC) and Financial Markets Reconciliation.

Prerequisites- Bachelor’s degree in finance or another quantitative subject and 7 to 10 years of relevant experience OR any other combination of education and experience considered equivalent
- Experience in IT project delivery and agile methodology and knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Git)
- Knowledge of financial markets and wealth management
- Proven leadership and ability to influence management
- Proven change management skills
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high performance standards
