Job Description

General Function:
The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies products across Money Mart and The Cheque Cashing Store locations. This role requires a deep understanding of omni-channel marketing, specifically for sub-prime lending and money services (cheque cashing, foreign exchange, etc) and experience with affiliate / third party marketing partners. The successful candidate has a versatile skill set in digital, retail, and traditional marketing approaches and is a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving results. This role is remote in the US, however, strong preference for candidates located in Florida.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that encompass digital, retail, and traditional marketing (OOH, email, SMS, etc) to promote sub-prime lending
  • Campaign Strategy and Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and trends in the sub-prime lending and credit space.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with partners in retail, compliance, and product teams to understand objectives, develop strategies, gain alignment and execute initiatives.
  • Affiliate / Partner marketing: Establish relationships with strategic marketing partners to grow expand our customer reach and optimize partnership mix to best achieve KPIs.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Budget Management: Develop, manage, and optimize marketing spend, ensuring spend drive positive business results.
  • Embrace culture: Be contributing member of a team of marketing professionals which fosters a culture of creativity and accountability.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, with experience in money service businesses / sub-prime lending.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful digital marketing, retail marketing, and traditional marketing strategies.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, including CRM systems, social media, and analytics tools.
