Our Red Chris Mine, located in the heart of Northern British Columbia on the traditional territory of the Tahltan Nation. A short distance from Iskut and Dease Lake, Our fly-in, fly-out site offers access from various points across British Columbia and Alberta. As a Mobile Maintenance Supervisor of Auxiliary equipment, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of heavy mobile equipment. By leading a team of maintenance professionals, you will help minimize downtime, enhance equipment performance, and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic mining environment.
- Lead pre-shift meetings, communicate safety protocols, and outline key tasks.
- Supervise mobile equipment maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Collaborate with planning, engineering, and operations teams to optimize work execution.
- Monitor and manage team performance, training, and development.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Experience: 2-3 years in a Supervisory or Lead-Hand role within mining or heavy equipment maintenance.
- Education & Certification: Trade certification or equivalent experience, BC Mine Supervisor Ticket (required), a valid interprovincial Red Seal (required).
- Expertise in, but not limited to: Medium-Heavy Highway Trucks, Medium sized wheel loaders, dozers, Skid Steers, Forklifts, AWPs and other light vehicles
- Brands onsite include: Caterpillar, JLG, International, Kenworth equipment.
- SAP, CMMS experience is a strong asset.
- Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, safety compliance, and communication abilities.
• Location: Site-based role at Red Chris Mine.
• Schedule: Two-weeks-in, two-weeks-out, rotating schedule, requiring hands-on Supervision in the field.

The expected salary range for this role is CA$103,300 - $137,700 with additional 15% short term incentive . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s pay history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about pay history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
