The Identity and Access Management Practice (IAMP) within Government Services Integration Cluster (GSIC) is currently in the process of modernizing Enterprise Identity and Access Management Services and we are seeking a Senior Security Infrastructure Support Specialist to support the Public Secure service. This technology will allow the people and businesses of Ontario to access government applications and services on-line.

What can I expect to do in this role?As a Senior Security Infrastructure Specialist, you will:

• work collaboratively with clients to resolve technical issues related to authorized application access
• lead the operational support for existing security technologies and participate in the integration of enterprise public-facing access management technologies with government applications
• monitor, track and report on incident logging and resolution
• work with cloud vendors to resolve complex technical incidents

Note: This position requires on-call and standby support.

How do I qualify?Technical Knowledge & Essential Skills:You have:
• knowledge maintaining and supporting application, infrastructure, and security solutions in large organizations
• knowledge of IT industry technology and best practices, as well as specific knowledge related to Single Sign-On solutions and Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) systems
• knowledge of IT Service management (e.g. incident, change, configuration, problem, continuity, availability) and quality methodologies, frameworks, processes, procedures, and tools
• technical knowledge of identity management protocols such as OAuth2.0, OIDC and SAML2.0
• knowledge of IT security technologies particularly IAM solution, encryption and authentication technologies such as OKTA, PKI, PMI, SSL and IDNEXUS

Analytical, Problem Solving & Research Skills:You can:
• conduct operational incident and problem resolution and to troubleshoot a range of technical problems
• address client ministry security infrastructure requirements to plan, organize and implement system integrations
• review vendor release documentation and evaluate impact to existing enterprise installations
• conduct research and analysis of advances in security infrastructure products, technologies, methodologies and techniques

Project Management & Leadership Skills:You can:
• provide team leadership to the section by assisting in the prioritization of incidents and issues
• plan and manage work deliverables related to the enhancement and maintenance support of complex services.

Communication Skills:You can:
• lead and facilitate technical discussions with vendors, client ministries, service providers, other technical staff and senior management.
• provide specialized technical expertise and advice and issues resolutions.
• prepare documentation, business cases and related resource materials.
