Our expectations

Reporting to the Manager, Operational and Store Communications, the Advisor, Operational and Store Communications will work in collaboration with management and various business units to facilitate exchanges with store employees in order to maximize understanding of priorities, foster commitment and promote the achievement of business objectives.

The incumbent will be responsible for managing store communication tools and supporting teams in the planning, development and execution of communication strategies that support operations.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, creative, and collaborative person, who thrives on challenges and projects of all scopes, and who is able to manage different IT tools.

Your role

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of organizational priorities, operational realities and current and upcoming initiatives, particularly by building strong relationships with the company's various stakeholders;
  • Act as a point of contact and support internal clients in the planning, development and execution of key operational communications strategies, propose the best communications tools to achieve objectives, collaborate on content creation and execute approved tactics;
  • Manage the communication platforms under your responsibility, ensuring appropriate use and content sharing according to the communication purpose and frequency, as well as coordinating the messages’ distribution;
  • Create content for various store communication tools, including weekly newsletters articles, speeches, scripts, presentations, job-aids, etc.
  • Contribute to streamlining communication processes and tools to increase efficiency, raise employee engagement and address business priorities;
  • Contribute to the coordination of communication initiatives such as events with various stakeholders and external partners.

The qualifications we are looking for

  • University degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related discipline
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in communications or a similar role
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Proficiency in Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
  • Proficiency in various communication tools, including SharePoint and Salesforce
  • Experience with different intranet platforms an asset.
  • Strong business ethics (strict observance of confidentiality) and good judgment
  • Good ability to synthesize and simplify
  • Good priority management and ability to handle several projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Strong listening, teamwork and adaptation skills in a dynamic environment.
  • Thoroughness, attention to detail, curiosity and diplomacy
  • Ability to play an advisory role with internal customers
