Role :
Reporting to the Manager of the Marketing Studio, the Marketing Writer will play a key role in creating impactful content tailored to various communication channels, both digital and print. You will be responsible for proofreading, standardizing descriptions in flyers, as well as correcting and translating existing messages, ensuring consistency with brand standards.
Responsibilities:
- Multichannel Marketing Writing: Create compelling content for various channels such as emails, e-commerce banners, circulars, and other digital and print materials.
- Proofreading and Editing flyers: Ensure the quality, grammar, and style of texts in both French and English.
- Translation: Adapt content while considering the cultural and linguistic nuances of the Quebec and Canadian markets.
- Market Monitoring: Stay updated on market trends and cultural differences to tailor messages to various regions across Canada.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, design, e-commerce, and brand teams to ensure message consistency and effectiveness.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong Writing Skills: Ability to maintain terminology consistency and ensure accuracy in product descriptions and circulars.
- Web Writing: Proficient in concise and impactful writing, with a good understanding of SEO practices and user experience.
- Retail Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years in a similar role, with a portfolio of successful projects.
- Creativity: Ability to craft original slogans, taglines, and promotional messages.
- Organizational Skills and Autonomy: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of Jira: Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira.
