Under the supervision of the Director of Communications and Public Affairs, and in collaboration with the Senior Vice President - Canada, you will be responsible for designing and implementing communication strategies tailored to local realities.
Your mission? Adapt and deploy Sanimax’s overall communication strategy to engage our employees, partners, and Canadian communities, while strengthening the company's brand and reputation.

Responsibilities
- Design and lead communication campaigns for Canadian-specific projects.
- Act as a point of contact for the deployment of global internal projects in Canada and coordinate their local implementation.
- Develop an action plan that supports the deployment of the global communication and public affairs strategy within Canadian operations.
- Collaborate with communication managers from other countries to support global initiatives and ensure consistent strategic initiatives and messaging.
- Promote internal programs to engage employees and enhance their sense of belonging.
- Participate in the planning, coordination, and follow-up of large-scale communication projects, including events.
- Write and revise various content (articles, press releases, messages, strategic documents, speeches).
- Ensure the consistency of key messages with Sanimax’s vision and global objectives.
- Collaborate with the Senior Vice President - Canada to support his strategic activities.
- Support the Director of Communications in managing urgent situations and coordinating global projects.
- Collaborate with external agencies to create communication campaigns.
- Participate in the development of the editorial calendar and creation of content for social media, ensuring its implementation.
- Write communications for the citizens of Lévis and Rivière-des-Prairies (newsletters, blogs, and social media).
- Measure the effectiveness of communication actions (KPIs) and recommend improvements.
- Provide regular reports on initiatives conducted in Canada to the Director of Communications and Public Affairs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of communication experience, ideally in a complex or international environment.
- Strong experience in writing, project management, and stakeholder relations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in both French and English).
- Ability to adapt messages to various audiences (employees, management, media, partners, etc.)
- Self-motivation, rigor, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborative approach and team spirit.
- Proficiency in digital tools and communication platforms.
