50% On-site (North Van) - QA Lead to coordinate testing and guide UAT for 2 projects - Cadmatic Design Software and Oracle Fusion ERP implementation

S.i. Systems enterprise client based in North Vancouver needs to add a QA Lead resource to their project team consulting for a Vancouver-based enterprise firm. They are seeking a On-site (North Van) - QA Lead to coordinate testing and guide UAT for 2 projects - Cadmatic Design Software and Oracle Fusion ERP implementation

Project: end client is kicking off a project imminently to develop the capabilities of the 3D model viewer of Cadmatic Design software (the E-share capability). The project has 3 mini projects within it and will follow a hybrid-agile project delivery method. They are also replacing their legacy ERP system with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.

Must live locally in Vancouver and be available to work approx 50% on site in North Van near Auto Mall (lighter some weeks, heavier during implementations)

12+ month contract

Feb - March = 20 hours/ week on "E-Share" project

April onwards = 40 hours / week on "E-Share" and "ERP" project

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

• QA Lead experience coordinating testing in an agile project environment, balancing
• Azure DevOps experience

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS

• Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP experience

JOB DUTIES:

High-level activities:

· Test planning - Which involves activities of defining the objectives of testing and the approach for meeting test objectives.

o Create test cases

· Test Strategy - Create a test strategy based on project requirements and schedules.

o Help the team understand what needs to be tested & provide guidance to superusers on how to test

o Most of the UAT testing will be completed by superusers in the business but the QA lead/ test coordinator will ensuring everything works before going live

· Perform regression testing , smoke testing, sanity testing

· Early testing to eliminate defects at an early stage

· Experience with working in an agile environment in a cross-functional team: PM, PO, BA, development team

· Develop a defect management system and help the team oversee this

· Accountable for the product quality
