Intermediate .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET Core, Blazor.NET, and SQL Server

Our large midstream energy client is seeking an Intermediate .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET Core, Blazor.NET, and SQL Server

The chosen candidate must be onsite downtown Calgary Tues-Thurs, working remotely Monday and Friday

Must haves:

• 3+ years software development using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET Core)
• Experience with Blazor.NET framework (Blazor Server and/or Blazor WebAssembly).
• Proficient in SQL Server and database design principles
• Experience with RESTful API design and development
• Solid understanding of coding patterns and best practices (ex. SOLID principles, design patterns)
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, source control (ex. Git), and automated testing

Nice to Haves:

• Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience using Azure cloud platform (app services, databases, etc.)
• Experience with Agile methodology

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using .NET Core, Blazor.NET, and SQL Server
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
• Collaborate with other developers to ensure code quality and consistency
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in .NET development
• Contribute to the improvement of our development processes and best practices
