Description
Position Title: Business Analyst - Intermediate
Duration: 6 Months
Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid -- What days will they need to be onsite and how frequent? Mondays & First Friday of each month
Office Location: 81 Bay 31st Floor
Line of Business: Enterprise Risk Management - Risk Data Management Office
What does the LOB do?: Data Management - this role is reviewing records management and classification
What project will this contractor be working on? Enterprise Risk Management RRD Program Shared Drive Migration to SharePoint.
Responsibilities:
The main function of a Business Analyst is to perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications. The Resources will be reviewing shared drive content for migration of permanent records (per Records Standards) to SharePoint.
Will be working with a different team to perform their requirement gathering. They will connect with a subject matter expert who will help define what should qualify for retention. There will not be any connections with stakeholders or presentations required.
• Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
• Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers
• Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
• Supports one or more highly complex business processes
• Works on multiple projects as a project team member
• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
Must Have Requirement:
- 2 - 4 years BA experience
- Familiar with record management and regulatory compliance
- Experience in requirement gathering for excel or SQL files in structured formats
Nice to Have:
