Intermediate Data Analyst to oversee the data integration with Hyperion and support IT financial planning and analysis - 826

Our client is looking for a Intermediate Data Analyst to oversee the data integration with Hyperion and support IT financial planning and analysis.

Initial 12-month contract, hybrid (2 days per week onsite, 3 days remote) in Montreal or Toronto.

Responsibilities:

• Support IT Financial Planning & Analysis: Maintain and troubleshoot Hyperion/Essbase and Oracle Freeform applications, providing guidance on issue resolution.
• Oversee Data Integration: Manage data and metadata integration from CA PPM Clarity into the cube, ensuring seamless financial data flow. Handle the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process for month-end, year-end, and budget cycles.
• Resolve Data Quality Issues: Independently assess and apply logical frameworks to address data quality problems.
• Support Budget Planning: Assist in the annual budget planning exercise, manage regular budget updates, and adapt the Hyperion/Freeform application for future budget needs.
• Ensure Data Quality: Ensure CA PPM Clarity data quality and related PM/PCO processes align with IT Planning and budget management requirements.

Must-Haves:

• 3+ yrs of experience with Data Analysis and administration
• Experience working with Hyperion /Essbase or Oracle Freeform
• Excellent communication skills in English and French

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience utilize tools such as Power BI, Excel/VBA/Macros, and Essbase retrievals to enhance and automate processes.
• Experience recording monthly job processes and suggest improvements for greater efficiency.
• Experience provide onboarding training and ongoing support for IT Financial Planning & Analysis processes
• Experience in the financial sector
