Our large banking client is looking for an Intermediate IT Project Manager to lead a technology project within a waterfall and agile environment - 85470-1


Line of Business: Enterprise Technology PMO - Enterprise Technology (ET) provides project management, technology solutions and support, and compliance and governance services.

Contract Duration: 12 months

Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid model - in office once a week + 1 Friday per month // Wednesday is core day In office. Potential for more onsite days in the future.

Office Location: Downtown Toronto (Financial District)

Work Schedule (hours per week, start time): 37.5 Hours/week, 9-5 Monday to Friday



Job Description:

  • Project Management - Outline project goals, terms of reference, resource requirements, and costs. Help create a resource plan that ensures all stakeholders have a voice on the project. Assess the efficiency of the practices and procedures used by a team, and provide guidance that will continuously improve the project plan.
  • Collaboration - Help internal partners make informed decisions about the development of programs, products, and services. Coach and mentor your teams as you work toward a common goal and negotiate deliverables and milestones whenever necessary.
  • Project Coordination - Proactively identify anything that will take projects off schedule and find solutions to correct the problem. Monitor milestones, and ensure they’re completed according to timelines and budgets. Execute a project plan that is personalized for your team’s preferred mix of budget, time, and risk.
  • Project Financials - Manage financials of your assigned projects effectively in accordance with the policies and procedures of the LOB. Report and explain monthly variances as per prescribed guidelines.



Must Have Requirement:

  • Project Management experience - 5 years
  • PMP certification MS Project and office experience - 5+ years
  • Hands on experience with project financials - 3+ years
  • Previous experience working on multiple different projects simultaneously.


Nice to Have:


  • EDF - Enterprise Delivery Framework exposure
  • Previous experience working on large projects (5 million +)
