Our Oil & Gas client is seeking an Intermediate SAP S/4 Hana Techno-Functional Consultant to deliver finance improvement initiatives within FI/CO

Must haves

• 5+ years SAP FI/CO (PCA)
• 5+ years SAC Planning and Budgeting
• Oil & Gas experience

Nice to haves

• SAP FI/CO sub-modules - GL, AP, AR, RAR, FA, JVA, PS
• Experience with SAP FI interfaces (Metrix, CSLand, EDI)
• Hands-on SAP FI Experience - technical and functional
• Understanding profit center accounting design in the oil and gas sector and use of document splitting
• Experience with end-to-end SAP FI improvement project (Confirm As Is, Define Requirements/Pain Points, Confirm To Be, Design & Execution)
• Ability to identify key drivers of a defined problem and propose solutions
• Ability to identify and solve problems using analysis, experience, and judgment
• Ability to perform analysis and effectively diagnose clients' issues.

Responsibilities

• Work on improvements to the existing configuration and design for the FI/CO and it's sub-modules
• Managing and re-design of SAP configuration to meet business requirements and resolve processing issues
• Participate in stakeholder meetings to identify, prioritize, and action optimizations for continuous improvement enhancements
• Collaborate with business owners, end users, and SMEs across the organization to gather business requirements, translating them to system requirements with the ability to identify gaps, issues, and work-around solutions
• Lead and perform the design and development and system configuration to meet business and operational requirements
• Test new technical configurations and implements solution to ensure business requirements are met. Regression testing of all types of financial entries and interfaces
• Prepare test scenarios, and execute on test scripts, validating test scripts
• Track the completion of the test steps, identify issues or questions to be addressed
• Execute on security testing by testing different roles and functionalities within the process
• Review training materials developed and update the material with business content if required
• Train Business SMEs and master data stewards on changes to the design
