Intermediate Workday Analyst - Workday Reporting specific to Severance - 79236-1

Position Title: Business Consultant - Intermediate

Line of Business: HR People Data and Analytics -Workday reporting and data solutions

Contract Duration: 6 months

Extension/FTE: potential for extension and conversion

Remote/Hybrid: Remote - as long as they can work Ontario hours

Location Address: 81 Bay 34th Floor

Who will the candidate be working with on a Daily basis: with the team, People and Data Analytic team.

Responsibilities:

• Use Access and Excel to make reports user friendly and appealing

• Workday Reporting - Partner with various HR functions, subject matter experts, and vendors to implement/configure, gather/document/socialize requirements, test and optimize custom reporting and calculated fields within Workday

• Analytical / Problem Solving Skills - Consult with your peers, vendors, Workday Community, and other sources to investigate and solve data-related issues or understand core functionality and limitations within Workday.

• Consulting - Partner closely with teams across HR to provide consultation and Workday solution expertise to intake, solution, and deploy designated initiatives and implementations across the portfolio.

• Comfort with Large Data Sets - Lead detailed analyses of large data sets (ranging from tens of thousands to millions of records) using either Excel, Text Pad, Access, or other tools to find anomalies, and understand the data, and make recommendations.

Must haves:

• 2-4 years of experience in a similar role

• Strong Access/Excel skills- comfortable with advanced functions (vlookups, xlookups, Index matches, wild card functions etc)

• Experience with custom reporting in Workday

Nice to have:

• Very nice to have - Experience with O2 Severance

• Knowledge of the HR function (systems, processes, and policy)

• Workday Pro Certification

• SQL

• Tableau

-Manage severance database
