Our client is seeking a Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist to support end-to-end hiring for employees and contractors in the oil and gas industry (8936)

*This is a hybrid environment with 4 days per week in office*


Must-Haves:

  • 1+ year of experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment
  • Experience with Workday and/or SuccessFactors
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources
  • Previous experience in the Oil and Gas industry or other large enterprise environments


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accuracy of requisition and position data prior to job postings.
  • Oversee the entire candidate experience and engagement process.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews for both internal and external candidates.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for candidate inquiries, including those from internal staff, external applicants, and contractors, and provide troubleshooting support as needed.
  • Manage the employee referral program.
  • Assist in customizing job postings and manage internal and external job postings across various platforms.
  • Oversee all background checks and manage vendor relationships.
  • Utilize recruitment tools such as VidCruiter, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
  • Support the end-to-end hiring process contractors (Canada only).
  • Contribute to system enhancements and ensure data integrity.
  • Assist with sourcing and candidate attraction strategies.
