Reliability Cleared Intermediate IT Research and Development Specialist to support in the establishment of a Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PET) Lab

Our valued public sector client is in need of a Reliability Cleared Intermediate IT Research and Development Specialist (7+years) to support in the establishment of a Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PET) Lab.

The PET Lab aims to advance research, solve industry-level problems, and foster data-centric collaboration between industry and government while ensuring data privacy and security. It will support industry, and academic use cases, and enable privacy-preserving collaborative data analytics, federated learning, and secure multiparty computation. As a result, AI and data-centric technologies will be safely developed and integrated into their mandated operations while protecting confidentiality and privacy of the underlying data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of technical specifications, feasibility studies, and risk assessments, as well as collaborate with industry, government, and academic stakeholders.
• Conduct research on privacy-enhancing technologies and identify use cases in government, academia, and industry.
• Develop technical specifications for hardware, software, IoT devices, and sensors for the PET Lab.
• Perform cost, feasibility, and risk analysis for setting up and maintaining the lab.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and recommend a comprehensive framework for the lab's development and scalability.

Must Haves

• Federal Government Reliability Clearance
• 5+ years in the last 7 in in data communication and storage solutions and project experience
• 5+ years in the last 7 years experience with Data Management, Data Security and Lifecycle Management
• 5+ Years experience with Agile Development and project management

Nice to Haves:

• 10 years of experience conducting feasibility studies for data privacy solutions
• 10 years of experience with cryptographic algorithms, privacy enhancing technologies and data privacy
