Description
Our valued public sector client requires a Secret Cleared Senior Organizational Change Manager (10+ years) to support the onboard of partner and services onto a new IT Service management tool.
Our clients are implementing BMC's Remedy IT Service Management (ITSM) solution to accelerate the Government of Canada's adoption of standardized enterprise ITSM processes. This will provide a modernized online product and service catalog and real-time order tracking for the Government of Canada's departments and agencies and more than 300,000 users. The change manager will be supporting and working closely with client departments to navigate friction points and departmental needs to ensure a seamless onboard to the new ITSM tool.
Responsibilities May Include :
-Develop Change Management Strategies and Plans through a common approach that builds organizational capacity for managing change;
-Manage and execute organizational change initiatives and projects as requested, working in close collaboration with clients;
-Assist with organizational needs assessment and planning strategic change interventions and mitigation strategies to meet change objectives and goals, that may include internal or partner changes;
-Provide advice, support and consultation to senior staff, key stakeholders and the Strategic Change Office to achieve strategic change initiatives and goals;
-Design and implement change programs and activities that are aligned to existing management frameworks and project plans
-Build effective collaboration and maintain liaison with the Strategic Communications and other business management system stakeholders;
-Develop strategic partnerships with other internal project managers to identify and consult on change management initiatives to support strategic projects requiring organizational change;
-Proactively address and respond to change management and leadership issues by bringing key stakeholders together to assess root causes and performance gaps and recommend appropriate interventions;
-Create presentations for executives (Directors, Director Generals, Assistant Deputy Ministers, Associate Deputy Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Vice Presidents, Chief Information Officers (CIO), Chief Operating Officers or, Presidents or equivalents) as required; and,
-Preparation and coordination of communications products including but not limited to: executive briefing notes, backgrounders, business correspondence, “communiqués”, social media content, video scribing tools, web content using GC 2.0 tools, ;
-Deliver presentations and workshops to executives.
Must Haves:
- Federal Government Secret Clearance
- 10 + years of Change Management experience
- A degree/diploma or equivalent educational certification
Nice to Haves:
- Bilingual
- ITSM experience
- BMC Tool experience (Remedy, Helix, Onyx, etc.)
- ITIL certification
