Senior Business Analyst required to support Client's ePMO on 3 programs/projects in various stages. (303-24-COT-RFS)

Our GTA based, Municipal Government client requires the services of a Senior Business Analyst to support their ePMO on 3 programs/projects in various stages.


ROLE:


Senior Business Analyst required to support the following programs/projects:

1. “Enterprise Communications program” which is a re-imagining of all processes, technology, and communications channels at Client.

o Project has not started.

o BA will need to work closely with business owners in the communications department to complete the business case, document current state workflow (L1 or 2 only), current state customer journey mapping pain points and high-level requirements

o BA will work with ePMO Manager to propose projects and their sequencing


2. “Finance Modernization program” which is a re-imagining of all processes, technology, and organization structures within the finance division, with an overall goal to automate and integrate several manual processes.

o Project has not started.

o BA will need to work closely with business owners in the finance department to complete the business case, document current state workflow (L1 or 2 only), current state customer journey mapping pain points and high-level requirements

o BA will work with ePMO Manager to propose projects and their sequencing


3. “IRMS Replacement project” which is a replacement of the current IRMS application.

o BA to work closely with business to develop 5-10 high-level requirements for vendor selection

o BA to work with various stakeholders to document desired future state workflows to address pain points of existing system, within the limitations of the new system once procured

o BA to create BRD, test plan, oversee testing

Client has typically a waterfall approach, with approvals passing through committees.

MUST HAVE:


· Experience supporting stakeholders transition from manual to automated software/applications/processes, especially for finance and communications functions.

· Ability to communicate, understand requirements, ask the right questions and take an active role in translating needs into proper documents.

· Ability to challenge all levels of staff to re-think and improve upon current practices, providing examples of best-practices in other industries as needed.

· Ability to see a goal or need, such as creating a document and then be able to break down the individual series of steps needed to successfully deliver.

· Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, show initiative and self-direction, manage project stakeholders in delivering project artifacts on time and to a high-quality standard.

· Experience in supporting documentation that includes workflow diagrams.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office suite, including Microsoft Visio or similar workflow documentation software.


NICE TO HAVE:


· Familiarity with the following: Smartsheets, Microsoft Power Automate, SharePoint.
