Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead the the end-to-end delivery and design of multiple Hardware and Software-related projects

This is a part time role (15 hours/week). Candidates can be 100% remote in Canada.

Must haves:

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst on software or hardware project's
• 5+ years of experience in Project Management and in designing, implementing, performing upgrades, configuring, troubleshooting, and documenting software solutions
• Previous experience as a software developer, or in a technical role

Nice to haves:

• Verbal and written communication skills demonstrating ability to work with various audiences
• Documenting requirements and other project required artifacts
• understanding of both the hardware and software components of an IT project
• Previous work experience in the public sector or large organization

Responsibilities:

• Creation of business case(s) via collaboration with stakeholders

• Facilitating requirements gathering sessions and draft recommended solutions based on gathered requirements

• Providing direction to other project resources as part of the solution implementation

• knowledge transfer to other resources, where required

• Status reporting, including formal reports / presentations, and other project artifacts, as required

• Project planning and estimating

• Communicating with a broad spectrum of stakeholders

• Updating Information Technology management, as required
