Description
Our banking client is seeking a Senior Mainframe (COBOL 6) Developer to support a development project.
Duration - 6 months plus extension Work mode - Hybrid onsite 2-3 days/week Location - Downtown Toronto
Must Haves
- Significant COBOL 6 experience
- Good hands-on experience with "new development" (vs maintenance / production support)
- Advanced understanding of the complete software implementation lifecycle - including data requirements gathering, dataset migration, data reconciliation, and move to production
- Experience with creating test scripts, mapping legacy data, and identifying any quality issues.
