Senior Project Manager to lead an IFS ERP Implementation within the aerospace/defense industry for a professional services client

Our valued professional services client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support a IFS ERP Implementation in the aerospace/defense industry!

Initial 6-month contract in Ottawa, ON (hybrid) with strong possibility of extension. 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for supporting an IFS ERP implementation for an Aerospace / Defense company. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in ERP project management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership in the MSP or ERP consulting industry. The Delivery Lead will be instrumental in project delivery, managing a cross-functional team, and working closely with stakeholders to meet critical implementation milestones.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage ERP delivery, including project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Facilitate workshops and planning sessions with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Manage a team of consultants and support coordination with customer stakeholders.
• Provide effective stakeholder management, ensuring alignment on project goals and expectations.
• Drive ERP enhancement initiatives, especially in the billing and finance areas, to meet client requirements.
• Work collaboratively with solution architects and functional experts to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Coordinate recruitment for project needs, involving both internal resources and external recruitment partners.
• Support pre-vetting and selection of candidates to strengthen both the functional and business sides of the team.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 8+ years in a project management and/or delivery lead, within a Professional Services (PS) or Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
• Demonstrated experience leading ERP or related digital transformation projects that require change management.
• Demonstrated experience working in Industrial/Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Construction, Mining, Energy, or similar industries involving Logistics & Supply Chain
• Demonstrated ability to manage diverse stakeholders, including clients and consulting teams.
• Willingness to work up to 80% on-site in Ottawa, ON when required.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• IFS Experience especially in modules like finance, service, supply chain and maintenance.
