Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager with asset management, GIS & field data experience to plan, execute and deliver the implementation of a digital as-built tool for our utilities client

This role is 100% remote, but candidate needs to be in AB

Must Haves:

• 15+ years Project Management experience delivering a variety of technology projects
• Ability to manage third-party vendors and their deliverables, including contracts and SOWs.
• Experience in managing RFPs, product and vendor selection, third-party vendors, contracts, and statements of work.
• Experience with developing and delivering executive level presentations.
• Risk management expertise, including identification, mitigation, and resolution.
• Experience utilizing and implementing GIS systems, high-accuracy GPS units, and barcode scanners
• Knowledge of Bentley MicroStation (field data)
• Experience with both Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment of technology with business objectives and operational needs.

• Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the OCM Lead to design and execute change management strategies, ensuring successful adoption of process and system changes.

• Establish and maintain strong credibility with executives, steering committees, and frontline teams to align project goals and outcomes.

• Confidently present project updates, risks, and milestones to executive stakeholders, while translating technical information into actionable insights for business users.

• Balance technical implementation with operational business processes to ensure the project delivers measurable business value.

• Governance & Reporting: Adhere to governance frameworks and provide regular updates on progress, risks, and variance to leadership teams.

• Proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve risks and challenges.

• Collaborate with technical teams, OCM, and business stakeholders to execute project deliverables effectively.

• Manage 3rd party vendor SOWs and work authorization, tracking progress against milestones

• Follow established processes to engage the services of clients Managed Service Provider
