Sr BSA - to support a risk management system implementation within Capital Markets using SQL and advanced Excel for our large financial client - 52660

Duration: 1 year with chance of extension

Interview Process: 2 rounds of interviews . 1 virtual, 2nd in person interview.

Work Location: Hybrid downtown Toronto - 2 days per week with Wed being an anchor day

MUST HAVE:

1.) IT BSA experience - 8 years

2.) Implemented systems in area of risk management - 5 years

3.) SQL experience - 5 years

4.) Advance excel experience - 5 years

6.) Technical diagram drawing skills - 5 years

7.) Capital market experience - 5 years

NICE TO HAVE

1.) CFA/FRM

2.) Banking experience

CANDIDATE PROFILE DETAILS:

Degree/Certifications Required: Good to have CFA/ FRM certifications,

Bachelors Degree Years of experience: 8 plus years

Reason for request/why opened: backfilling for a contractor who contract is ending.

% Interaction with Stakeholders: High level of interaction 70 to 100%

Project Scope: *project could change*- enterprise level, interest rate risk Mgmt

Team Size: 20 to 30 team members

Personality Style/Team Culture: Someone who is flexible because sometimes things come up in the role with investigations, positive attitude. Be able to help the other BSA’s (team player).

Selling Points of Position: working in a niche area (treasury), help build the system from scratch.

Best Vs Average Candidate: BSA experience in banking experience, CFA/FRM, implemented systems in area of risk management, SQL experience, capital market experience, advance excel is a must
