Sr Business Analyst to develop use cases to help establish a new call center within the federal government

S.i. Systems valued public sector client is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst to develop use cases to help establish a new call center within the federal government.

Must Have:

• Extensive experience with Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, reviews, retrospectives, burndown techniques, etc.
• Valid business analysis certification (i.e.: IIBA, PMI)
• Experience developing use cases and story lines
• Canadian University degree or college diploma
• Enhanced reliability

Nice-to-Haves:

• Previous experience working within call center

Tasks Include, but are not Limited to:

• Conduct an environment analysis and conduct interviews with leadership to propose and determine overall scope boundaries and parameters
• Develop quality management standards that are applicable and can be managed at the programme/portfolio level
• Develop quality management strategies and plans to support current project needs and for future needs
• Provide regular progress reports to programme authority (at minimum weekly cycle)
• Conduct a quality review and document the business requirements
• Identify gaps in business requirements and provide recommendations to the Business Architect
• Identify opportunities for organizational improvement
• Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
• Facilitate group sessions to identify requirements
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true business needs
• Communicate and collaborate with external and internal clients to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed
