Description
Our valued Public Sector client requires a Senior Business Analyst to help develop and implement an enforcement and evidence management system for a large federal project.
Must Have:
- Business Analysis certification (IIBA, PMI, etc.)
- Experience working within an Agile environment
- Experience working with a Case Management System (CMS)
- Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform
- Experience developing an enforcement related product
- Valid Enhanced Reliability Clearance
Tasks Include, but are not Limited to:
- Conducting quality reviews and documenting Enforcement Program business requirements including interfaces.
- Eliciting and refining requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
- Communicating and collaborating with other Business Analyst(s), Product Owner, Project Managers, and external and internal clients and Project Authority to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed:
- Functional requirements;
- Business requirements document;
- User Stories and Product Backlog; and
- Use cases, graphical user interface (GUI), screen and interface designs.
- Advising the Project Manager and Project Authority on a range of issues affecting the organization's ability to achieve the project's business objectives.
- Working independently with users and Product Owner to define concepts with assistance from Project Manager.
- Preparing business analysis and a workflow analysis to assess difficulties in reaching goals and to determine a better strategy.
- Identifying gaps in Program business requirements and providing recommendations to the Product Owner and Development Team.
- Documenting business process requirements using the departmental Business Process Requirement (BPR) template, for components of the assigned project, using natural (plain) language.
- Capturing relevant information in the traceability matrix identifying gaps and provide recommendations to IITB.
- Documenting User Stories and User Acceptance Test case scenarios and document results in Azure DevOps (ADO) application and obtain approval from the Product Owner.
- Transferring functional and technical knowledge to the project team and client staff through individual and group training, demonstrations, written instructions, and documents on an ongoing basis throughout the life of the project.
- Translating the business requirements into Back Log items in DEVOps.
