Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Storage Management Specialist for a 6-12 month contract role. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a range of storage and backup solutions. This temporary position requires expertise in managing and operating storage products, including Hitachi, Brocade, Dell, and IBM systems. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the storage infrastructure, ensuring seamless performance, availability, and reliability.

Must-Haves:

• Storage Management Specialist with hands-on experience with a range of storage and backup solution
• Proven experience with Hitachi disk management (G700, Content Platform, Storage Navigator, Ops Center).
• Expertise in Brocade SAN management and using SAN Navigator.
• Dell Power Protect Data Manager backup software and Dell Data Domain hardware.
• Strong experience with IBM Spectrum Protect backup software.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Certifications in storage management, such as Hitachi Storage, Dell, or IBM certifications.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex storage and backup issues.
• Familiarity with data protection, backup scheduling, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Familiarity with other backup and disaster recovery tools.
• Experience with cloud storage or hybrid storage solutions.
• Knowledge of SAN fabric management and optimization.
• Previous experience in a similar temporary or contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor Hitachi disk management products, including G700, Hitachi Content Platform, and Hitachi Storage Navigator.
• Utilize Hitachi Ops Center to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize storage environments.
• Oversee and support Brocade SAN infrastructure, utilizing SAN Navigator for SAN management and troubleshooting.
• Manage Dell Power Protect Data Manager backup software and Dell Data Domain hardware, ensuring proper backup operations and data protection.
• Oversee IBM Spectrum Protect backup software, ensuring the integrity and consistency of backup processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to storage and backup systems in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure smooth integration between storage, network, and backup solutions.
• Implement best practices for storage management and backup processes to ensure business continuity.
• Document procedures, configurations, and incidents related to storage systems.
• Collaborate with the IT team to perform upgrades, patches, and system maintenance.
