Sr. Application Architect to implement M365 for our higher education client

Duration: Sept 2024 - Dec 2025 (37.5 hours/week)

Location: Hybrid (2-3 times a week in office), Etobicoke

Job Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Associate Director, Enterprise Architecture within ITS Enterprise Applications,

the Applications Architect collaborates with business partners and ITS to understand and achieve

desired business outcomes across all campuses. The role involves integrating the “big picture” of

enterprise application platforms, services, and technology, and creating effective plans for current

and future application architecture development and integrations. This includes leveraging best

practices for technology design, configuration, and deployment across various enterprise

applications such as the Student Information System (SIS), Financial Information System (FIS),

Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

systems, Digital Identity, and related integrations.

• The Applications Architect provides strategic advice to senior management on organizing

enterprise digital assets to manage risk, achieve business outcomes, and optimize the client

experience. This involves a diverse set of enterprise platforms, services, and integrations to meet

the college’s varied business needs.

Must haves:

• 7+ years as an Application Architect
• 4+ years of experience in implementing MS Teams, MS Devops, or M365
• Experience integrating with Enterprise ERP (Banner, Oracle HCM, or Destiny One)

Nice to haves:

• Experience with integration tools (preferably MuleSoft)
• Experience with Salesforce integration/implementation
