Sr. Business Analyst for analysis of business needs, processes, and systems for an enterprise-wide Outage Management project.

Our energy client is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst for analysis of business needs, processes, and systems for an Outage Management project.

Candidate will be required to work downtown Calgary 3 days/week (Tuesday-Thursday).

Role Overview: Working with the midstream business stakeholders, you will gain understanding of their outage management challenges, requirements, and objectives to identify areas for improvement or enhancement. You will also be responsible for researching and identifying potential software solutions that can address the identified outage management needs. In addition, you will actively be collaborating with IT and business teams to develop a business case for the selected software solution, including cost-benefit analysis and ROI projections.

The project term is from October 2024-December 2026 with an initial contract period of 1 year, with possibility of extension.

Must-Have:

• 8+ years Business Analysis experience
• Experience working on projects related to Outage Management; requiring understanding of both business processes and IT systems
• Experience developing business cases for software solutions including cost-benefit analysis and ROI projections

Nice-to-Have:

• Knowledge of midstream operations

The interview process would be scenario based, where a scenario will be provided to you and will be required to present back in both written and oral form.
