Description
Our large oil and gas client is seeking a Sr. Project Manager for delivery of an industrial cable plant management tool (Patch Manager) to start partially in December and ramp up to 20 hours/week in 2025 for a project that goes into 2026.
Location: Working remotely with occasional requirements to visit Calgary and/or Fort MacMurray offices. Preference is to have a candidate in Calgary, but anyone in Canada working MST hours would be welcomed with the below skillset.
Must-have:
- 8+ years project management experience utilizing a blend of waterfall and agile methodologies
- 5+ years experience delivering project in an industrial setting (oil & gas, utilities, railway, telecom)
- Experience implementing a cable plant management tool (ideally Patch Manager, or Hexagon GTechnology)
- Familiarity telephony / fiber optics / cabling related dialogue
Projects: This large energy client with industrial sites across Canada is moving from Hexagon technologies to Patch Manager. This is a software tool to organize cable connectivity data. The implementation will start primarily for an energy site in northern Alberta.
