What You’ll Be Doing:

• Designing physical layout of custom analog and digital blocks for multi-Gb/s SERDES IP
• Understanding analog circuit building blocks and physical design layout parasitic effects in analog circuits
• Working with digital logic and layout design for standard cells
• Applying knowledge of design for reliability (ie. EM, IR, etc.) and layout effects (ie. matching, reliability, proximity effects, etc.)
• Utilizing custom analog layout tools and verification decks (LVS, DRC)
• Scripting with TCL, PERL, PYTHON, C, etc.

What You’ll Need:

• Must currently be enrolled in 3rd year or higher in Bachelor or Masters of Engineering program, specializing in Electrical, Software or Computer Engineering, or similar
• Familiarity with UNIX and Windows work environment
• Exposure to a variety of advanced SERDES developments, including the latest 56/112G PAM4 standards
