Position Summary

The TDS Technology Factories drive and report the delivering of strategic or transformational imperatives towards completion across TDS and TBSM technology organization.

The TDS Risk and Audit Factory Lead is responsible for leading and managing the TDS Risk and Audit Factory function accountable for tracking and delivering of thematic/systemic technology audit findings, risk issues, including enterprise driven initiatives supporting TDS business segment in alignment with TD enterprise technology and cyber security standards and compliant with enterprise practices and solutions.

The TDS Risk and Audit Factory Lead is required to work closely with the TDS and TBSM TS teams and other enterprise teams (e.g. Platform Protect, IT Infrastructure, Business Information Security Office (BISO) etc.) to address any risk issues and minimize the risk exposures for TDS business segment.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Serves as point of contact for TDS Risk and Audit Factory to drive and report the delivery of key remediation workstreams.

  • Participation as required in supporting TDS & TBSM for implementing enterprise strategic objectives and initiatives.

  • Assist TDS TS technology (or TDS business if required) in meeting the applicable TD technology and security controls to address audit and regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Lead and coordinate thematic/systemic remediation efforts for TDS and TBSM TS through Risk or Audit Factory to ensure the open risk and audit items are close on time.

  • Ensuring full participation in Audit / Regulatory programs and oversight of any remediation outcome

  • Provide guidance and advice to TDS & TBSM TS teams on technology and cyber risks / security controls, including audit and regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Support TDS & TBSM TS teams in the enterprise risk and control processes (e.g. technology and cyber risk assessments, control gap assessments, infrastructure / application security reviews, SOX control testing, etc.)

  • Prepare audit and risk reporting for TDS technology forums as required.

Qualifications/Skill Sets

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience in technology and cyber risk management, IT audit at major financial institutions.

  • Deep knowledge and sound understanding in one or more areas of technology and cyber risk management principles, internal control concepts, information security controls, and industry frameworks.

  • Strong analytical skills to identify control weaknesses or root causes and recommend effective and pragmatic solutions to address risk and control issues.

  • Collaborative and engaging personality who can partner well with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Motivated and committed to drill down into risk and control issues with positive attitude.

  • Able to evaluate and articulate risk and control issues clearly.

  • Subject matter expert in handling audit lifecycle from finding field work, action plan, remediation, and validation requests.

  • Strong IT literacy and well versed with MS Word/Excel/Visio and PowerPoint.

  • Proficient in data analytics, data visualization and dashboard presentation.

  • Well versed with JIRA/ jQuery, Confluence, ServiceNow and Archer.

  • Adaptable to changing priorities and ad hoc requests.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
