What we're looking for:

Our guild of analysts is looking for a clairvoyant who’s able to read the minds of our clients to predict their needs and then translate them to a team of different experts.

Your main tasks will be to question, challenge, and advise clients to determine their project requirements (what and why) and define the software solutions that meet the needs of these same clients.

As a business analyst, you’ll be working mainly in a pre-project mode in order to help the business development and advisory services team to support new opportunities that will turn into concrete projects.

This means you will often be working directly with clients (alongside CX and digital strategists) to advise them for their needs, define potential solutions, and assess calls for proposals.

You’ll then be working with the solutions architects to define the software and technological solutions that are the most appropriate for clients. You will therefore be involved in Tink’s service proposals process. Finally, you might be asked to work on small mandates as a PO (Product Owner).

If you like taking on challenges and you feel at ease working on several projects at once, if coordinating teams appeals to you and you are bilingual (French and English), this position is for you.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Define the software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Question, challenge, and advise clients about their web evolution (transactional website, web showcase, intranet, e-commerce, etc.).
  • Identify and catalogue business needs and translating them into requirements (functional and non-functional).
  • Collaborate with CX and digital strategists as well as business development directors to adequately advise clients.
  • Define web and/or profitable and innovative mobile solutions.
  • Design software architectures.
  • Oversee project scope assessments.
  • Draft requirements (specifications).
  • Collaborate with the business development and advisory services team when drafting service offers .

Required Qualifications and Characteristics:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • Relevant university degree.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience as a business analyst.
  • Interest in new technologies and have an in-depth knowledge of the web and its challenges.
  • An aptitude for working on more than one project at a time.
  • An ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment to define solutions.
  • Experience with one or more types of CMS, mobile applications, and e-commerce products (asset).
  • Bilingual (French-English) both written and spoken.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary.
  • 5-hour workweek with a flexible schedule.
  • Hybrid work mode.
  • Summer schedule.
  • Paid vacation and sick leave.
  • Group insurance.
  • Contribution to a collective RRSP.
  • Access to a free gym.
  • Telemedicine and employee assistance program.
  • Renowned clients and large-scale projects.
  • Various and modern technologies.
  • Career advancement opportunities.
  • Reimbursement of training and development activities.
  • Events and social activities.
  • Experienced colleagues and diverse fields of expertise.
