Speaking of success… it's our sales teams that make it happen. And that's where you come in. As a Mid-Market Sales Representative, you’ll drive new and/or existing business for ADP’s cloud-based HR & payroll solutions to corporate clients within a defined territory. By strategically collaborating with internal partners and with help from our top-notch training, you’ll sell to new and/or existing clients and effectively close sales for ADP Comprehensive Services.

THINGS YOU’LL DO: Responsibilities)

  • Work within a protected geographic territory to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals. It’s that simple.
  • Turn Prospects into Loyal Clients and Raving Fans
  • Implement a top-down sales strategy targeting Presidents, CEOs, CFOs and Owners to build a network with C-level executives. Now, that’s what we call networking.
  • Deepen Relationships Across the ADP Family
  • In addition to cloud-based HR & payroll solutions, strategically cross-sell into existing accounts by spotlighting ADP’s shiny, new products and solutions. Wait… there’s more!

Collaborate daily.

  • Be an ADP ambassador by spending time in the field. #ADP
  • Develop an annual business plan and determine the sales and activity goals required to attain or exceed the assigned quota.
  • Support the existing sales team in interacting with them to maximize territory penetration and develop and execute solution strategies.
  • Support overall direction, motivation, and leadership to a sales team in a designated territory.
  • Participate and lead during monthly field and blitz days.
  • Develop relationships with C-Level Executives and other key client stakeholders.
  • Cultivate a targeted list of companies within a protected geographic territory.
  • Position value and strength of the ADP Comprehensive solutions and related services to new and/or existing customers in alignment with the client's primary business objectives.
  • When meeting prospects and/or existing technology clients, share commercial insights to trigger client action
  • Align and work side by side with Solution Consultants to discover and analyze client business processes.
  • Collaborate and co-create business cases with clients to help them justify any potential investment with ADP.
  • Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the ADP Comprehensive Solution offering.
  • Maintain up to date industry and product knowledge.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to close the sale.
  • Join and support Implementation and/or service teams to ensure positive client experience and timely conversions.
  • Provide clear and concise documentation of pertinent client information.
  • Participate in regular meetings with the VP of ADP Comprehensive Services and the HRO sales team when required.
  • Provide training to field sales.
  • Using appropriate sales process tools, e.g., SFDC and re-order.
  • Perform other duties as required.

EXPERIENCE YOU NEED: Required Qualifications)

  • Highschool Diploma
  • Preferred experience includes at least five years of strategic sales experience selling to C-Level contacts, including two or more years of outside business-to-business sales experience.
  • Human Capital Management selling experience as an asset.
  • Proven ability to create and implement activity plans and coordinate tasks to balance sales initiatives and required deliverables.
  • Demonstrates an ability to set individual goals, monitor the progress of objectives against targets, and develop corrective actions or recommendations to ensure goals are met.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales objectives.
  • Ability to position the value of Comprehensive Outsourcing in competitive situations.
  • Proven proficiency in selling and presentation skills and territory management.
  • Proven ability to promptly propose and implement creative but practical) solutions to business.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate & relate to all levels of the organization through all available mediums verbal, listening, writing, presenting).
  • Ability to effectively balance personal accountability for sales results by working collaboratively with sales colleagues and internal resources within the business to ensure consistent, accurate information and a level of service to clients.
  • Industry and/or knowledge of ADP's competitors is an asset.
  • Canadian payroll Association, PCP Certification, CHRL Designation, etc., is an asset.
  • Valid driver's licence.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including with C-level executives.
  • Motivated, self-starter with practical time management skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as being a collaborative team member
  • Five years + of experience with business-to-business sales, particularly at the executive level

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $70600 - $120400/Year
