Position Overview:
The 3PL Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily inbound and outbound logistics operations within a third-party logistics (3PL) environment. This role involves ensuring efficient and effective supply chain management, maintaining high standards of safety and compliance, and fostering strong client relationships. The supervisor will lead a team of logistics professionals, coordinate with various departments, and implement strategies to optimize operational performance while ensuring SLA compliance.
Key Responsibilities: 3PL Support:
  • Act as the main contact between the Operations team and ITAD processing/3PL facilities.
  • Approve 3PL invoices.
  • Collaborate with the CFI Operations team to improve product handling and service costs.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments with Inside Sales Representatives and ITAD processing/3PL facilities.
  • Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure inventory control processes are followed.
  • Lead daily meetings and reconcile Purchase Orders with Account Support Associates.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) under the guidance of the Operations Manager.
Inventory Management:
  • Monitor inventory flow in and out of ITAD processing/3PL facilities to optimize levels.
  • Ensure timely processing of BID inventory with clear instructions to ITAD processing/3PL facilities.
  • Plan and conduct cycle counts in Distribution Centres/3PL facilities to identify and correct discrepancies.
  • Analyze inventory levels, investigate issues, and adjust as needed. Lead year-end inventory counts in facilities and third-party warehouses.
Reporting and Data:
  • Collaborate with Inbound/Outbound Sales to determine inventory reporting needs.
  • Create and review inventory reports for management and business partners.
  • Analyze inventory reports, highlight risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science complemented with 3-5 years of experience with a 3PL Distribution Center is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills and communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills in handling large databases is a must.
  • Strong sense of urgency with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure
  • An ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Detail Oriented, strong interpersonal and communication skills
