We are currently seeking a Senior Advisor, within Energy Conservation to develop and manage the Trade Ally Network (TAN).

The TAN is a formalized Business Partner network that will consist of a membership of trade allies which will serve as an extension of EGI’s existing delivery channels all sectors of energy conservation programming.

The TAN is expected to play a crucial role in Enbridge achieving energy efficiency goals and scorecards in all sectors by engaging and growing the expertise and resources of the member base. Examples of the desired TAN membership composition include Contractors, Service Organizations and Energy Advisors, Manufacturers and Suppliers, Builders, Government and Non-Profit Organizations.

Here’s what you will do:

  • Leading the development of business processes that support the TAN, including trade ally membership application review and approvals, onboarding and training for members, periodic member reviews and disqualification process, KPI monitoring and performance awards, nurturing relationships with members (through organizing events, workshops, seminars) etc.

  • Develop and execute innovative new membership/outreach strategies through collaborating with internal stakeholders (which may require working with legal, supply chain, TIS, and other departments), external industry partners, associations, in order to engage a wide and diverse membership

  • Ensure a consistent and streamlined interface for TAN members which will require that TAN functions, processes, and messaging are aligned across all the DSM programs that will employ TAN to support their delivery and to be seamless for consumers, attractive to our allies, and support the growth of the conservation portfolio.

  • Be the primary point of contact with Marketing for all collateral materials that will support TAN business partner and customer facing portals, as well as identifying, marketing and managing opportunities for sponsorships and collaboration

  • Virtual and in person event planning that supports the TAN program, which could include periodic webinars, conferences, seminars, training sessions, awards/golf banquets, etc.

Who you are:

  • A bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business or Marketing) and 7+ years of directly related experience in B2B Sales, Customer Strategy, Energy Conservation or Marketing Strategy.

  • Demonstrates proficiency in project management, identifying opportunities and has a keen awareness of interrelationships with other stakeholders.

  • Excellent interpersonal, and strong communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Strong teamwork skills for working with various functional areas, external vendors, business partners and various support areas.

Working Conditions:

  • Travelling including overnight, mainly within Ontario, may be required. A valid Ontario G class driver's license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required.
