Bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist (French & English)

Join our team! AGF is looking for a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team! The selected candidate will be based in our Markham office and will occasionally need to travel to our shops located in Kitchener and Scarborough. This is a hybrid position, so we offer the opportunity to work remotely 2 to 3 days a week.

About the Role - As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:

• Participating in needs assessments with internal clients to fully understand hiring expectations;
• Writing and posting job advertisements on our website as well as on platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, and Facebook;
• Managing recruitment for various roles in factories and on construction sites;
• Responding to candidates via Facebook Messenger for quick and effective communication;
• Taking a proactive approach to identify and contact candidates on Facebook, especially for scrap metal worker roles and via Jobillico for factory and electromechanical positions;
• Conducting background checks and employment reference verifications;
• Collaborating in the pre-screening of resumes for positions with a high volume of applications;
• Consulting and managing unsolicited applications sent to our email addresses emploi@agfgroup.com and jobs@agfgroup.com;
• Supporting the talent acquisition team in various projects;
• Translating various documents from French to English and vice versa;
• Contributing to AGF's employer branding activities.
