Position Description:

As an Application Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing the target architecture to support the needs of members, clients, employees, and partners in the field of investment solutions manufacturing.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

- Advise and support specialists and business partners in the strategic positioning, planning, and implementation of innovative technological solutions.
- Design application solution architecture, taking into account data, applications, security, and infrastructure aspects to support strategic projects and initiatives.
- Ensure the coherence and consistency of solution architecture across multiple development squads, aligned with enterprise directions.
- Identify and analyze complex issues, raise critical concerns, and provide relevant recommendations.
- Conduct technical or organizational diagnostics and propose appropriate guidance for committees and decision-making bodies.
- Represent the client’s position in agreements with partners or external organizations.
- Ensure the accurate and up-to-date documentation of applications, application services, and components within the client’s architecture repository.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development or IT architecture, including at least 3 years in application solution architecture.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, layered models, APIs, microservices, continuous integration, and DevOps practices.
- Experience in multi-squad or scaled Agile environments (SAFe).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, both technical and non-technical.
- Knowledge of security standards, data governance, and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is an asset.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role involving interactions with both national and international clients
